Greetings!

Another New Year! I am wishing you a very happy and healthy 2017.

Last year was a good one for me. I learned a lot, had good times with family and friends, created quite a few new paintings, finally cleaned up the ugly garden bed in front of my house, and hosted some very uplifting gatherings. It was a 9 year for me, a year of completion, and it does feel complete. Now I am ready to step off the cliff of new adventures, like the fool of the tarot deck. It’s all about new beginnings. Wish me luck!

This month we have a couple of articles about two of our biggest killers – diabetes and heart disease. Did you know that many ten-year-olds are already suffering from the beginnings of heart disease and one third of the children today are predicted to develop type 2 diabetes? This is criminal! No child should have to grow up facing those odds. But guess what, both of these devastating diseases can be prevented, often even cured, with a whole-foods, plant-based diet – and yes, plant-based means no meat, dairy, or eggs. It works! Just be sure to get your B12 from a supplement (VeganSafe is the best brand), whether you eat animal products or not.

We have a great article on glutathione sources in foods to help you live long and stay youthful. There’s a fun website to help you stick to your goals for the new year. And finally, a bit of a departure from our usual fare. Stephen Greer talks about what he has learned from military and political insiders about the “secret space program.” There are a lot of nut jobs out there talking about this sort of thing, but Greer has done his homework and he has been called upon to brief many world leaders on the subject. Stranger than fiction? Yes, but what isn’t lately?

Contrary to popular belief, one factor that is much more likely to put you at risk for insulin resistance and diabetes than healthy carbs [ ] is a high-fat diet. There are several reasons for this. First, high blood fat levels put a major strain on your liver, pancreas, and adrenal glands, which work together to manage your blood sugar levels. Your liver has to shoulder the burden of processing the fat you eat, so a high-fat diet can make the liver sluggish and unable to store and release glucose as it should. Excess fat burdens your pancreas because it needs to release enzymes to aid fat digestion. 

Additionally, when blood fat levels are high, the adrenals flood the body with adrenaline. While this increases digestive strength to help move fat through your system, excess adrenaline can wear away at the pancreas, reducing its ability to produce enough insulin to keep your glucose levels in check. Lastly, high blood fat levels can prevent glucose from entering cells. This is not to say that all fat, even healthy fats such as nuts, seeds, and avocados, are bad for us and need to be completely eliminated.

Glutathione the Youth Peptide

Glutathione (GHS) is a hot topic lately, because of its youth-enhancing properties. Before you go out and buy another bottle of pills, you might want to read this article. By including the right foods in your diet, your body can create plenty of GSH on its own.

sticking to your goalsNeed More Stick-to-itiveness?

Do you ever have trouble sticking to your resolutions? Here’s a website that can help. It’s called stickk.com. It works like this. You choose a goal that is important to you and then create a penalty for not sticking to it. You can even ask a friend or coach to be your referee and invite other friends to support you in sticking to your goal.

This may not work for everyone. It requires that you be honest with yourself and with your support network if you break your commitments, and you really do have to pay up when you fall off the wagon. But if it suits your personality type it can be super helpful. I’m not so sure it would work for my inner rebel, but with the right support network it could actually be fun.

What’s Your Goal?

Your goal could be weight loss, being kinder to your kids, eating a healthier diet, stopping drugs or alcohol, getting regular exercise, or anything else you want to change in your life. You choose. You set up the agreement. You decide on the penalty. You create your support team.

Imagine, as a simple example, that you decide to meditate for 10 minutes a day and the penalty you set up if you miss a day is that you would have to contribute 50 dollars to the political party or cause you hate the most. Would you EVER miss your meditation if you had to give money to the KKK, or some other nefarious organization? Probably not. Seems to work for a lot of people. Maybe it’s just what you’ve been looking for.

It is amazing to me that heart disease is still the number one killer of Americans (and others who eat a typical Western diet) when we have known how to reverse it easily for decades. Study after study has shown that eating a plant-based, whole-foods diet prevents and even cures heart disease. Apparently most doctors would prefer to prescribe toxic drugs and perform surgeries, rather than tell their patients to change their diets.

Recently, a local doctor told someone I know who has heart disease that he didn’t have to be as “extreme” about his diet as the Ornish Diet, which even allows non-fat dairy products and egg whites (which are not whole foods). He suggested the Pritikin Diet, which is better than nothing, but it has only been reported to reduce heart disease by 75%, and it includes dangerous things like artificial sweeteners and canola oil.

Why Aren’t Doctors Telling People?

My question is, why don’t doctors just flat out recommend a whole-foods plant-based diet? President Clinton’s doctor did, but there are far too few others. Are people so addicted to dairy and eggs that they can’t live without egg whites (try aquafaba instead), or non-fat milk? There are lots of delicious and healthy alternatives to dairy milk, cheese, and even whipped cream, butter, and ice cream. More are being developed all the time. Of course it won’t help much to replace your meat, eggs, and dairy with high-fat vegan options. Just saying there are some pretty tasty alternatives out there as an occasional treat for those with healthy hearts (but many of them are not whole foods – read the ingredients carefully).

I have to wonder if brainwashing by the meat, dairy and egg industry has warped the minds of people to the point of no return. I’ve sure been a victim of it in the past, even though (or maybe because) I’ve been studying nutrition for over 40 years. Though I quit eating meat way back then, I thought I had to hang onto dairy, or at least eggs, if I wanted to stay healthy. Thank goodness for people like Michael Greger, M.D. and Anthony William, who devote their lives to helping us learn the truth about diet and health.

What is Vegan vs. Plant-based

You may be wondering what is the difference between a whole-foods, plant-based diet and a vegan diet. Here’s the way I see it. A vegan diet is usually motivated by animal rights. Some vegans eat a terrible diet of processed foods, but they think it is okay because it doesn’t harm any animals. The problem is that it is harming the most important animal in their lives – their own body. The whole-foods, plant-based diet is a vegan diet focused on good health. Some people on this diet don’t care about animal welfare at all, just their own well-being. But isn’t it wonderful that they are helping stop animal abuse anyway?

Friendly ETsSomething Completely Different

I am sharing the video below, even though it is long, because you may need this information in order to make wise choices in the future. I really hope you don’t. But given what I’ve seen in the last few months, it seems like anything is possible… maybe even probable.

Will there be a big false flag event designed to give the globalists power to “unite the world” against an imaginary “alien” threat? I don’t know, but it is a very real possibility. The idea has certainly been featured in plenty of movies financed by the global elite. If it does happen, I hope as many people as possible will be aware of what’s really going on so they can sidestep the fear-mongering and keep the peace. All will not be as it seems. Far from it.

It’s Important to Be Informed

“Disclosure” is inevitable sooner or later. Already, according to a 9/29/15 Newsweek.com article, “a 2012 survey by National Geographic found that 77 percent of Americans think that aliens have visited Earth.” So why all the secrecy if most people already know, or at least suspect? We have to wonder what is being hidden, and why – and, most importantly, when disclosure does happen, will it be the whole truth?

What if disclosure is used as a fear tactic to control the world population, much as “the war on terror” has been used? This could easily be orchestrated, given that a significant percentage of our population seems to be motivated by fear and bigotry, as witnessed in the last election. What better enemy than an off-planet alien force hell bent on destroying the world?

Let’s Choose a Better Way

A  much better scenario would be a mass unveiling of the truth as presented in this video. Steven Greer, a well-respected emergency room surgeon, has devoted decades of his life to bringing out the truth on this subject. He has briefed presidents and other top political and military leaders. He has documentation to prove much of what he is saying. What he says seems stranger than fiction, but hey, look who’s moving into the White House. What could be stranger than that?

Greer gives a pretty thorough overview of what has been going on for the last 70 years in the secret space program. In a nutshell, he states that:

  • All the reported “alien” abductions and mutilations were instigated by humans who have been imitating ET technology found on ships they shot down. This has been going on since the 50s.
  • Human-made “UFOs” have visible seams, while real ET ships are smooth and seamless (though eventually humans may be able to copy this feature too).
  •  When real ET ships have been sighted, human-made ships are often sent in afterward to confuse and sometimes cause harm in order to create a negative view of ETs.
  • Though some ET technology has already come out, there is a lot of it that is being withheld in order to protect the profits of the elite (like free energy devices).
  • Greer has not encountered reports of true ETs causing harm to humans. (Seems obvious. Wouldn’t they have destroyed us long ago if they really wanted to attack us? On the other hand, they may not all be totally benevolent. In other words, don’t give your power away to anyone, especially anyone who claims to be here to save us!)

I have not personally had any contact with ETs, or human imitations of them, but I’ve been listening to Greer for several years and have come to trust him. His intentions are honorable and he is risking his life to share this information. I hope you will give him the benefit of the doubt and at least listen to what he has to say. If enough people do this, it will pull the rug out from under any possible ET attack nonsense the media may throw at us. Please share widely.
